Lookout Pass Ski Area
| Last season was GREAT! Lookout Pass Ski Area was open 111 days from November 12, 2005, to April 9, 2006, with 168 inches at the summit on March 26 and 27. This was a record for number of days open, but only second best in the last six years in terms of snowfall: from March 21 to 23, 2002, there were 225 inches on top of Runt Mountain. | Lookout Pass is open Thursday through Monday and all holidays, including the winter vacation break from December 20, 2006, to January 8, 2007. The lift operates from 9 AM to 4 PM Pacific Time, except on Saturday and Sunday, when the resort opens at 8:30 AM. The "Boomers Friday" lift ticket promotion for those over 40 years old is now available for $16, rather than $15. Other ticket prices have risen as well. | |

"Downhill Divas" Women's Ski or Snowboard Program 9:30 to 2:30 every THURSDAY thru March 1, 2007. Ski with a Pro in a relaxed atmosphere. Demos, boot fitting tips, fun and lunch included. |
| 6 | FREE Ski School Ten week SATURDAY School for 6 to 17 year olds. Scheduled buses from Post Falls, Hayden Lake, Coeur d'Alene, Silver Valley and Montana. Registration starts at 9 AM in lodge. Beginner Sessions from 10 AM to 11:15 AM. Intermediate and Advanced Sessions from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM. Program ends with Graduation on March 10. |
