There are five building lots in this meadow that surrounds a pond next to Nine Mile Creek. These photos were taken in late October; expect that the pond will fill in spring. An engineered spillway to Nine mile Creek keeps mountain run-off from flooding the property.

This is the GoogleEarth view to the northeast up Nile Mile Road, headed to Dobson Pass. Burke Canyon with its legendary silver mining camps is to the right.
